Kinn is seeking a strategic, results-oriented leader for the role of Director, Digital & Retention Marketing . This hands-on position requires someone who is comfortable with both strategic vision and execution. The role involves leading lifecycle marketing, CRM, digital experience, and VIP programs aimed at increasing LTV and fostering emotional loyalty. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate cross-functionally with brand, CX, operations, and creative teams, managing internal and external partners to scale Kinn profitably. What You’ll Own: Retention & CRM Own and execute lifecycle marketing via email and SMS (Klaviyo), including campaigns, flows, segmentation, and automations. Develop and scale high-touch clienteling and VIP programs to surprise, delight, and reward top-tier customers. Formulate retention and win-back strategies to enhance LTV, repeat purchases, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and CX teams to align retention efforts across channels and in-store experiences. Leverage customer insights and data to personalize communications across segments and purchase journeys. Lead A/B testing, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization based on results. Drive post-purchase engagement strategies, review collection, loyalty moments, and referral programs. Translate cohort and product performance data into actionable strategies. Champion consumer insights and first-party data strategies to optimize creative, site, and channel performance. Ecommerce & Site Experience Oversee digital merchandising and on-site communication to support retention initiatives (e.g., banners, product pages, loyalty moments). Manage digital touchpoints for post-purchase, order tracking, and follow-ups to enhance satisfaction and encourage repurchase. Partner with Shopify developers to improve conversion rates and AOV through on-site testing (upsells, bundles, UX improvements). Growth Support new customer acquisition through campaign insights, low-lift channel testing, and storytelling. Work with paid and affiliate teams to refine targeting, messaging, and post-click experiences. Use customer data to inform product launches, content strategies, and growth experiments. Maintain awareness of CAC, LTV, and payback periods to support sustainable scaling. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with creative, operations, and CX teams to execute aligned, customer-centric initiatives. Present strategies, performance reports, and insights to founders and leadership. You Might Be a Fit If: Have managed email/SMS programs end-to-end in Klaviyo. Can interpret data and turn insights into creative experiments. Have built or managed VIP, loyalty, or clienteling programs in luxury or premium brands. Understand Shopify and digital customer journeys thoroughly. Are fluent in key metrics like LTV, AOV, CVR, CAC, and know how to influence them. Can manage freelancers or agencies but also enjoy hands-on creation. Believe every customer interaction is an opportunity for brand love. Prior Experience: 5–8 years in lifecycle, CRM, ecommerce, or retention marketing roles. Experience in luxury, fashion, beauty, or DTC ecommerce. Hands-on experience with Klaviyo and Shopify is essential. Familiarity with testing platforms, heat maps, and CRO tools is a plus. Understanding storytelling-driven brands that rely on emotional connections is preferred.
