About the Role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for service excellence and operational efficiency? We're looking for a Director, Depot Service to lead our centralized repair and technical service functions across multiple depot locations. This is a critical role focused on standardizing operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring service scalability to support our long-term growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-site depot repair and technical service teams with strategic oversight and hands-on support.
Standardize workflows, documentation, and quality procedures across all locations to ensure consistent and scalable service delivery.
Use data and service KPIs to drive decisions related to quality, turnaround time, and resource optimization.
Partner with cross-functional leaders in Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure alignment of inventory, billing, and data systems.
Evaluate capacity and system readiness for potential site consolidations, expansions, or automation opportunities.
Develop and oversee training programs to elevate technical proficiency, safety standards, and service quality.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture through mentorship, coaching, and accountability.
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and internal audit protocols.
Drive integration and alignment of depot operations within the broader service and customer experience ecosystem.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manage Depot Managers and indirectly oversee depot staff across multiple sites.
Establish consistent performance expectations, KPIs, and service goals across teams.
Partner with HR on staffing, onboarding, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years of progressive service operations or depot management experience.
At least 3 years in a director-level or multi-site leadership role.
Proven experience building or transforming scalable service delivery models.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies strongly preferred.
Strong technical literacy, ideally within electro-mechanical or diagnostic equipment environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and service management systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).
Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Familiarity with WMS and service platforms like Salesforce or ServiceNow.
Ability to interpret and present operational metrics using dashboards or BI tools.
Willingness to embrace new technology and support change management initiatives.
Must be able to sit, stand, and move within service environments; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
