Essential Functions Manages database administration staff including selection, training, guidance, performance management, and development to meet department objectives. Ensures the operation of the database department aligns with the organization\u2019s business objectives. Participates in developing a roadmap for data management, including database or data management software. Creates and maintains policies and processes to satisfy audit requirements. Identifies and recommends technology solutions for business requirements. Complies with security policies and procedures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field (or equivalent). Minimum of five years leadership experience managing Oracle and SQL Server administrators. Minimum of eight years of Oracle database administration experience. Experience with ETL, data warehousing, and general data management including Big Data technologies. Proficiency with Linux and Windows; familiarity with Hadoop and Cassandra. Ability to research and quickly resolve highly technical system issues. Effective leadership and communication skills, including training abilities. Strong attention to detail, policy compliance, and documentation. Approved background and drug screen is required. Compensation and Benefits The base pay scale for this position in Phoenix, AZ / Chicago, IL is $185,000 - $250,000 per year. In New York, NY / San Francisco, CA it is $225,000 - $300,000 per year. Eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits. This pay scale is subject to change and not a guarantee of specific compensation, which depends on various factors including job scope, market rate, location, education, experience, and skills.
