Overview Our client is a premier global alternative asset manager with more than $60 billion in assets under management. For over two decades, the firm has built a reputation as one of the most dynamic and diversified hedge funds in the industry, deploying capital across multiple strategies. The team is looking to hire a Director who will sit in the corporate FP&A function and act as a key partner to senior leadership, delivering forward-looking financial insights, shaping strategic decisions, and helping drive firm-wide performance. Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Design and deliver monthly reporting packages and executive scorecards that highlight financial results, trends, and areas requiring management attention. Drive analysis of firm-level revenues, operating expenses, and KPIs, providing actionable insights to improve forecasting accuracy and resource allocation. Lead the corporate budgeting and reforecasting cycles, partnering with leadership across departments to ensure alignment with business initiatives. Build and refine financial models that evaluate strategic priorities, including headcount growth, new product launches, and infrastructure investments. Provide scenario analysis and ad-hoc reporting to assess financial outcomes and inform management’s decision-making. Collaborate with HR, Risk, Strategy, and other corporate functions to align financial planning with broader firm objectives. Mentor and manage a team of three FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement. Streamline reporting and analytics processes through automation and enhanced data visualization. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CFA designation a plus. 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably within financial services, asset management, or hedge fund environments. Strong leadership and people management skills with experience overseeing small teams. Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, both in written materials and presentations. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; PowerPoint proficiency required.
