JOB PURPOSE:
Serves as the central point of contact for all clinical data registries across the health system, including but not limited to the Oncology, Cardiovascular, Neurosciences service lines, etc. Responsible for administrative and clinical functions of the Physician Enterprises quality initiatives, spanning both the inpatient and ambulatory care settings. develops and maintains a service line quality management program. Manages clinical data reporting to support strategic decisions. Leads clinical data collection and analysis as it relates to the Physician Enterprises initiatives. Applies clinical specific expertise, best practices, and knowledge of internal and/or external business issues to suggest improvements to patient care. Leads cost management, human resource management, clinical management, and value management for the Clinical Quality Department. Develops and operates budget in partnership with administration.
Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate from a school of nursing or Masters degree in a healthcare related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Seven (7) years of progressive work experience in clinical quality control, performance/operations improvement and analysis or closely related field, to include three (3) years of leadership experience is required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
If an RN, current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
Certified Cancer Registrar (CTR) certification preferred.
