My client is a public biotech who holds incredible financial stability, a well-known market reputation, a recent asset acquisition with one of the most well-known global pharmaceutical organizations and a team of exceptional leaders with accomplished industry tenure. The team is looking for a Clinical Development leader ( Medical Director ) with a specific focus and Board-Certification in Gastroenterology, Hepatology or Internal Medicine. The biggest must-have my client is looking for is a physician who holds extensive patient-facing expertise therefore understanding the unique management to work with individuals who are suffering from metabolic disorders. Industry expertise is not a must, but a plus! This is an incredible role that will allow you to hold high visibility and impact as the position reports into the Executive Director of the department and will work closely with the organization's executive leadership team in pushing through the team's late-stage pivotal programs. To be considered you must hold: An MD with a Board-Certification in Gastroenterology, Hepatology or Internal Medicine. Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA, or be local to the area for an on-site cadence Clinical patient expertise within the Metabolic space
