Overall project direction and communications with project teams and clients Ensure that high-quality management, administrative, and technical service is provided. Manage scope, schedule, and budgets to meet company objectives. Maintain project backlog data and accounting information for project profitability. Partner with other leaders across Matrix to assist on multi-disciplined projects. Lead marketing efforts, proposal development, and contract negotiations for the group. Generate new client sales to Matrix at annual targeted rates. Competencies: Strong industry relationships and an understanding of local, municipal, state and federal criteria. Ability to analyze and interpret business management and technical data. Self-directed practitioner with strong project management and project delivery skills. Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels. Technical expert in team building, writing, proposal development, cost estimating, and program management. Must be able to work effectively as a leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, motivate, and develop a team of civil engineers and designers. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Effectively manage Client resources to ensure on time delivery of project deliverables.
