Director, Chief of Staff - AI/ML Product Engineering The Director, Chief of Staff is a critical position supporting senior leadership, enabling leaders to execute strategic work while ensuring operational rigor. The Director, Chief of Staff will be a part of the AI/ML Product Engineering team within the Intelligent & Foundations Experience (IFX) line of business. The Chief of Staff will partner closely with the VP+ Leadership team to develop, implement, and sustain the following four strategic areas foundational for the success of the organization: 1) Strategy, (2) Operational Excellence, 3) Organizational Culture, and 4) Communications. Candidates should have a passion for technology, driving organizational change, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Candidates should be excited about improving the daily lives and development of our engineers and help our leaders advance our strategy at scale. Responsibilities: Serve as a strategic thought partner for a member of the IFX senior leadership team, helping guide the operations and management of their organization.
Act as a central point of contact between the IFX leader and other key partners across the organization.
Prioritize and focus leaders in a number of key areas (goals, labor strategy, budget, organizational growth, .
Understand the organization’s strategy and vision, lead the Leader and their team to drive and track goals and priorities.
Assist the leader and their team with strategic planning including financial and resource planning in collaboration with key partners, including the IFX Chief of Staff, Finance, and HR.
Create and manage effective, scalable processes to manage operating rhythms.
Requires an ability to lead and influence to inject new operational processes to drive executional discipline and excellence.
Influence across all levels of the organization and across organizations.
Work with the leader and their communications team to plan and execute key messages and deliver to internal and external audiences with a high priority on consistent, frequent organizational communications.
Develop relationships within direct and extended team members to be able to act as an informed and helpful sounding board and thought partner.
The Successful Candidate will: Demonstrate strong communications proficiency, including across teams and organizations, and have experience utilizing oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills
Have the ability to multitask with simultaneous projects and tasks, while demonstrating urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion
Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to be goal/execution-oriented
Be able to react seamlessly to change in priorities and delivery focus
Be capable of balancing strategy and tactical delivery
Execute a strategic approach to all things especially process and operations
Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree
At least 7 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Program Management
At least 3 years of experience managing executive level stakeholders across different business functions
At least 4 years of experience working with cross-functional teams
At least 3 years of experience partnering with engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management or STEM-related field
5+ years of experience in people management
3+ years of experience in strategy development
3+ years of experience in budgeting and labor strategy
3+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
