We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Broadband Engineering to lead our Broadband Engineering Team. This individual will play a key role in managing cross-functional collaboration, supporting product development, and driving successful broadband deployments and integrations. We are looking for a strategic leader with a deep understanding of broadband technologies and a passion for innovation and customer success.
Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Broadband Engineering Team to ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to manage broadband product deliveries and firmware releases. Serve as a technical liaison for operator customers during trials, deployments, integrations, and throughout the product lifecycle. Develop deployment strategies and provide advanced engineering support to operator customers. Act as a broadband subject matter expert (SME) across Product, Sales, QA, and Customer Support teams. Oversee requirement definition, integration, and troubleshooting across current and future broadband and managed Wi-Fi device portfolios. Advise on broadband-related technology and infrastructure improvements to enhance testing and integration workflows. Participate in lab and equipment management, including buildout and maintenance planning. Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi design, deployment, and troubleshooting. Proven leadership experience managing a team of engineers. Strong familiarity with broadband and Wi-Fi tools, software, and protocols. Expertise in troubleshooting complex broadband and Wi-Fi issues. Experience in network architecture and performance optimization. Proficiency with managed Wi-Fi platforms and network performance tools. Experience working with PON networks, including various OLT and ONT/ONU vendors. Strong communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with Android TV and IPTV technologies is a plus. Technical Skills Broadband & Wi-Fi Technologies ACS, Plume, Managed Wi-Fi Platforms PON, OLT, ONT/ONU Deployment & Customer Support Processes Microsoft Office, Jira (or similar project tools) IPTV / Android TV (preferred but not required) Additional Details The base range for this contract position is $150,000 - 180,000 / per year, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
