The Opportunity We’re looking for a Director of Brand Marketing to own and evolve the Good Inside brand across every marketing channel, campaign, and consumer touchpoint. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be the steward of our voice, visual identity, and creative standards, ensuring that every landing page, ad, email, video asset, and push notification feels unmistakably Good Inside. In this role, you’ll bridge brand and performance, bringing creative excellence to our growth, lifecycle, social, SEM, and SEO strategies. You’ll partner with our content team to keep tone and design consistent across marketing and all membership content. This expert will manage this workflow while evolving and clarifying the line between the Good Inside brand voice and Dr. Becky’s voice. The right candidate is a creative at heart, with the strategic vision of a brand marketer and the precision of an editor. You’ve led creative direction in brand and content roles before, you thrive in a highly collaborative environment, and you can shift seamlessly between high-level brand strategy and in-the-weeds QA. This role is hybrid and requires 3 days in the office in Mid-Town Manhattan. Your Responsibilities Ownership and accountability for consistent tone, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing touch points. QA copy, design, marketing LPs, and emails for brand alignment, accuracy, and creative excellence Partner with paid media, lifecycle, social, and SEO teams to ensure brand-aligned storytelling Distinguish, document, and evolve the Good Inside voice vs. Dr. Becky’s voice, ensuring both are applied consistently and appropriately Develop and optimize creative and copy testing processes to improve performance while maintaining brand integrity Collaborate with the content team to ensure tonal and creative consistency across podcasts, membership content, and marketing campaigns Manage and mentor a team including a Marketing Copywriter, Marketing Designer, Senior Manager of Marketing Creative Operations Build processes, guidelines, and review systems to ensure consistency and quality at scale Your Skills & Experience 8+ years in brand, content, or creative direction roles, ideally in a consumer-facing brand You’re right-and-left brained; deeply creative with a passion for storytelling through data and proof of performance A writer or designer by trade, with exceptional editing and storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual identity Skilled in balancing brand integrity with performance marketing needs Strong creative judgment with a deep understanding of tone, brand positioning, and design principles Proven ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams Comfortable toggling between strategic leadership and hands-on execution Experience partnering across growth, lifecycle, social, and content teams to deliver cohesive consumer experiences Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quality-obsessed A Great Candidate Owns challenges and drives solutions with confidence Communicates directly and effectively and pursues the truth, even in difficult moments Is motivated and driven by ambitious goals Adapts quickly, taking on various responsibilities with enthusiasm Embraces periods of intensity and knows when to shift gears Is career-driven and aspires to grow Is passionate about Good Inside's mission and eager to make a real impact What We Offer Compensation: Annual salary for this role will be: $175-$190K Company Equity Comprehensive benefits package 401k + Company match Time off to recharge Hybrid work environment A high-ownership, high-performance, high-collaboration culture Equal Employment Opportunity Good Inside is an equal opportunity employer and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
