We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Biological Network Analytics to be located in Spring House, PA or Boston, MA.
You will be responsible for:
leading a computational biology team and directing computational approaches for integration and interrogation of high dimensional biology data
ensuring resource and process efficiency within team and external CRO partners
partnering with internal wet and dry lab stakeholders within Multiomics discovery as well as external TA, DSDH, IT, and ISD partners to deliver TA and modality agnostic hypotheses including but not limited to Target ID, therapeutic selection, and patient stratification
strategic planning for expansion, advancing capabilities and driving innovation through next-generation Multiomics analysis methodologies, infrastructure, software, process improvements and AI/ML to meet the needs of the evolving Discovery Portfolio
partnering with wet lab directors to establish best practices and efficient workflows for high dimensional biology data analysis
designing, implementing and validating computational models to study biological processes
creating, supporting, and/or managing databases critical for accessibility and analysis algorithms
developing, acquiring, or leveraging existing software tools and pipelines for data analysis
effectively communicating results and implications to key stakeholders
managing Operational and Contractor budgets
accountability for the development of organizational culture and capabilities
Qualifications
Education:
a PhD with a minimum of 10 years experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry is required
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Strong technical background in bioinformatics is required
Established track record in using computational biology to address complex biology questions is required
Strong communication and presentation skills are required
Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python is required
Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and functional areas is required
Experience with Multiomics Datasets is required
Preferred:
Experience managing a team of computational scientists that have a deep understanding of biological systems is preferred
Experience cultivating and developing relationships to identify and leverage opportunities to meet the evolving organizational needs is preferred
Evidence of innovation and ability to keep up with the rapid pace of scientific advancement in computational biology, AIML, and Multiomics data integration is preferred
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 - $276,000.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

– Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
– Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
– Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
– Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
