This position will develop and implement fundraising strategies and activities to carry forward the mission and vision of Mayo Clinic. The Development Director will qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward principal gifts prospects to align benefactor interests with the strategic priorities of the institution. The Development Director will manage a portfolio of approximately 85 prospects with a primary focus on qualifying prospects and closing gifts of $2,000,000 + and will partner with the Regional Manager (Sr. Director/Vice-Chair) to develop and implement strategies for all gifts of $5,000,000 and above. Development professionals at Mayo Clinic are required to adhere to the "Donor Bill of Rights" and ethical standards set forth for the department and the institution.
