$80,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Our client, a growing apparel company, is seeking a Sweater Designer to join their team in New York. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts, sketches, CADs, and prototypes for new collections. Stay updated on trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to create designs that resonate with our target audience. Research and select suitable fabrics, and trims for each collection, considering both aesthetics and functionality. Work closely with tech designers to oversee the development of prototypes and fits of garments. Collaborate with production teams to monitor the manufacturing process, ensuring timely delivery of finished products. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with 5-6 years of experience Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong understanding of construction, textiles, techniques, and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
