Job Description: Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a world-class leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients. Parsons seeks a Delivery Director to achieve operational capability for the FAA/DOT/Administration’s new Air Traffic Control System. Preference is for candidates in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid work with 75% travel to the NCR. What You'll Be Doing: Planning, directing, and controlling all project functions. Assigning responsibilities to project teams. Mobilizing resources and creating effective project teams. Developing budgets, schedules, and plans with other managers and engineers. Addressing scope changes, cost overruns, or delays, and advising clients and management. Promoting quality assurance and technical excellence. Monitoring and reporting project progress. Representing the company during project execution. Conducting weekly meetings to review status and mitigate risks. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 25+ years of relevant experience. Senior management and client-facing experience. Experience with complex technology deployment and system integration. Knowledge of testing, evaluation, and operational environments. Skills in requirements validation, design, and delivery across multiple companies. Risk mitigation expertise. Knowledge of FAA or similar mission-critical organizations. US Person status. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Strong background in strategy and engineering on large projects. Minimum 20 years of project management experience.
