The Role
We're hiring a Content Producer & Creative Director who will own the full 360° process of concepting, planning, and executing both e-commerce and lifestyle photo shoots. This is a hybrid role that blends visionary storytelling with flawless execution.
You'll work hand-in-hand with our Founder to shape the creative identity of each shoot-pitching concepts, casting talent, planning logistics, and ensuring high-performing visuals are captured across photo and video for every marketing channel. Your creative direction will drive content across social, ads, retail, influencer seeding, web, and more.
This person must be an expert in styling, emotionally-driven storytelling, and elevating product through lifestyle, with a strong understanding of what performs across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Ideation & Direction
Concept and present creative direction decks and visual storytelling strategies for each shoot Build moodboards, pull wardrobe styling inspo, and curate storytelling themes aligned with brand vision Pitch shoot concepts directly to the Founder for approval and feedback Production Planning & Execution Plan and lead 2-3 photo shoots per month, capturing 60+ new SKUs monthly Cast models, scout locations, coordinate glam teams, book photographers/videographers, and manage timelines Develop and manage shoot budgets, including rate negotiation and vendor coordination Ensure a seamless shoot day experience-from styling and shot list execution to set direction and energy Content Capture for 360 Marketing Capture a mix of still photography, short-form video, and vertical content tailored for: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest Paid social ads and whitelisting Website, email, and SMS Retail store (print signage, lookbooks, collateral) Influencer seeding campaigns
Ensure strong coverage for all SKUs across ecomm (on-white) and lifestyle use cases Capture high volume lo fi UGC style and product focused content on set with support from in house editor. Strategy & Alignment Collaborate with Marketing, Social, and Brand teams to ensure content strategy is aligned with campaign goals. Working closely with founder all 360 campaign direction. Keep a pulse on creative trends, visual culture, and high-performing digital content Propose ways to push creative boundaries while maintaining brand consistency Requirements 4-6+ years experience in content production, photo shoot planning, or creative direction (fashion preferred) Proven experience owning creative direction from pitch to execution Elevated sense of style, aesthetic, and storytelling Deep understanding of fashion e-commerce and content strategy across organic and paid media Comfortable casting models, directing on set, and presenting to executives Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple moving parts independently Must be LA-based or willing to travel for in-person shoots Bonus Points Experience producing for retail or print marketing Strong knowledge of short-form video direction and trends Photography or videography skills (not required but a plus) Experience at a fashion or lifestyle brand
