Description

The CorporateDirectorofFinance isresponsibleforoverseeingtheaccountingoperationsfor PerformanceHospitality's portfolioofthreemanagedandfourownedhotels,aswellasjointventuresandpartnershipswithin InsiteDevelopmentGroup .Thisroleensuresaccuratefinancialreporting,regulatorycompliance,androbustinternalcontrolsacrosstheorganization.TheDirectorprovidesleadershiptotheaccountingteam,supportingtimelyreporting,auditreadiness,andpolicyenforcement.

KeyResponsibilities Overseeallaccountingfunctionstoensureaccuracy,timeliness,andcompliancewithinternalpoliciesandapplicableaccountingstandards. Leadthepreparationandreviewofmonthly,quarterly,andannualfinancialstatementsinaccordancewithGAAPandUSALIstandards. Implementandmaintaininternalcontrolstosafeguardcompanyassetsandensuretheintegrityoffinancialrecords. Coordinateandmanageexternalauditsandinternalreviews,ensuringtimelyandaccurateresponsestoauditorrequests. Ensurecompliancewithfederal,state,andlocaltaxregulations,coordinatingwithexternaladvisorsasnecessary. Developandenforceaccountingpolicies,procedures,andsystemstoimproveaccuracy,efficiency,andcompliance. Monitorthemonth-endandyear-endclosingprocesses,includingaccountreconciliations,journalentries,andvarianceanalysis. Provideoversightforaccountspayable,accountsreceivable,payrollaccounting,fixedassets,andgeneralledgerfunctions. Collaboratewithfinance,operations,andexecutiveteamstosupportbudgetadherenceandfinancialdecision-making. Maintainaccuraterecordsforjointventureandpartnershipentities,includingpropertreatmentofcapitalcontributions,distribution,andallocations. Ensureproperapplicationofwaterfalldistributionmodelsandjointventureaccountingprinciples. Deliverinternalfinancialreportsanddashboardstoseniorleadership,highlightingtrends,risks,andcomplianceissues. Leadtheannualbudgetingprocessandprovideongoingforecastingtoanticipatefinancialperformance. Qualifications

Qualifications Education: Bachelor'sdegreeinaccountingorfinancerequired.CPAstronglypreferred.Amaster'sdegreeorMBAisaplus. Experience: 8-15yearsofexperienceinaccountingorfinance,withatleast5yearsinaleadershiprole.Realestateindustryexperience,involvingjointventureswithrelatedwaterfalldistributionandcomprehensiveREITexperience,ishighlydesirable.Hotelexperienceisaplus. Skills&Competencies AccountingExpertise: DeepunderstandingofGAAP,USALI,andjointventureaccounting,includingwaterfalldistributionsandpartnershipreporting. REITaccounting ,provenexperienceincludingfinancialreporting,compliance,andoversightofproperty-levelperformancewithinacomplexportfolio. InternalControls&Compliance: Provenabilitytoimplementandmonitorrobustinternalcontrolsandensurecompliancewithregulatorystandards. Leadership: Strongteamleadershipandstaffdevelopmentskills,withtheabilitytofosteraccountabilityandperformanceinadistributedteam. Audit&Reporting: Experiencemanagingauditsandpreparingaccurate,audit-readyfinancialstatements. AttentiontoDetail: Highlevelofaccuracyandattentiontodetailinfinancialreportingandreconciliations. TechnologyProficiency: Familiaritywithaccountingsystems(e.g.,Sage,Oracle,QuickBooks,orsimilar),andproficiencyinMicrosoftExcel. Communication: Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,capableofconveyingcomplexaccountingtopicstonon-financialstakeholders.
