What we’re looking for: We are looking for a Strategy Director who can play a pivotal role in the agency's success, leading strategic thinking across key accounts and new business. While deeply understanding the power of content, this role requires a holistic view of strategy, bringing external perspectives and innovative thinking to client challenges. This individual will develop and champion integrated strategies that leverage a variety of channels and tactics, with content as a core component. They will have a deep understanding of how marketing, sales, and product intersect, and how content serves as a critical bridge between these functions to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, multi-talented individual with exceptional communication skills, a proven ability to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, and craft compelling narratives that they can present and sell convincingly, inspiring confidence and buy-in from clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. You should be comfortable navigating the ever-evolving digital landscape and possess a strong understanding of B2B communications. You are equal parts problem solver, writer, creative and analyst. With endless curiosity, inspired and energized by solving client marketing challenges, particularly in the B2B space. What you’ll do: Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the development of integrated strategies for key clients, encompassing all stages from research and discovery to execution and measurement. Conduct in-depth audience analysis, competitive audits, and market research to inform strategic recommendations. Develop comprehensive strategic plans, communication frameworks, and messaging architectures that align with client objectives and target audience needs. Run strategy workshops with clients. Collaborate with creative, editorial, digital, and account teams to ensure seamless strategy execution and integration. Stay abreast of emerging trends, platforms, and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation. Contribute to the agency's thought leadership efforts by developing original research, POVs, and presentations. New Business & Client Development: Play a key role in new business pitches, developing compelling strategic narratives and presenting to prospective clients. Lead client workshops and presentations, effectively communicating complex strategic concepts in a clear and concise manner. Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements and develop new service offerings that address evolving client needs. Build and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with clients, becoming a strategic partner who understands their business and helps them achieve their goals. What you’ll need: 10+ years of experience in a strategic role, with a demonstrated ability to think holistically and integrate various channels and tactics into cohesive strategies Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated strategies that have delivered measurable results. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Deep understanding of B2B & B2C marketing and communications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, and collaborative project management tools (e.g., Monday.com). Experience with SEO, social media, and other digital marketing channels is a plus. The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
