Consultant Program Director – BSN Program (Pre-Launch Phase)

The Nursing Division in South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary’s (SFBC&TS) College of Health Sciences is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Consultant Program Director for the pre-launch phase of our new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program. This contract-based position will be hybrid (with work conducted remotely and at SFBC&TS’s Deerfield Beach, FL campus as needed) and will span an estimated 6–12 months. South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary is an institution of higher learning where the Bible is central in preparing men and women for ministry to serve Christ and His Church through Biblical thought and Christian life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design a complete BSN curriculum, including course syllabi, sequencing, and clinical components (medical-surgical, OB, pediatrics, psychiatric, and geriatrics).
Prepare and submit application materials to the Florida Board of Nursing (BON), Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE), and Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
Develop clinical training partnerships and initiate affiliation agreements across nursing specialties.
Draft academic and clinical policies, student handbooks, and progression criteria.
Advise on faculty recruitment, credential requirements, and teaching load structures.
Lay the groundwork for future CCNE program accreditation.
Collaborate with the Vice President of Academic Affairs and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of program milestones.
Preferred Qualifications:
Earned Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
More than 5 years of nursing education leadership, including successful state and national program approvals.
Experience with curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and accreditation preparation.
Essential Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree (required).
At least 5 years of nursing education experience.
Familiarity with Florida BON standards, higher education processes, and clinical training site coordination.
Strong project management, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with excellence.

Contract Terms:
Estimated 290–300 hours over 6–12 months.
Compensation range: $40,000–$45,000 (flat fee, based on qualifications and experience).
Hybrid role: work may be performed remotely with required virtual or occasional in-person meetings.
Consultant will report to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
