What You’ll Do The Community Relations Director (CRD) leads the sales and marketing initiatives with the goal of increasing and maintaining occupancy. The CRD supports the community’s financial success by representing the company’s culture and values, developing strategic marketing plans, and modeling extraordinary customer service. The CRD builds relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the greater community. Take overall responsibility for the sales and marketing process, collaborating with the leadership team. Make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events. Outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other health care professionals. Guide, train, and support team members to serve as a backup in taking inquiry calls, giving tours, and providing customer service as needed. Maintain working knowledge of federal and state regulations. Prepare reports as required and develop strategic marketing plans. Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a related field. Compassion, kindness, and the desire to work with elders and their families. Computer literacy, social media savvy, and proficiency in learning specified online programs. Organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a team environment. Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and goal-directed. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English. Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations. Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Valid driver’s license.
