What You’ll Be Doing: Define and implement strategic sales plans to meet commercial growth objectives in the relocation and warehousing industries. Create, mentor, and lead a high-performing commercial sales team to ensure growth and continuous performance. Monitor commercial sales activities, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and plan efficacy. Lead the creation of answers to commercial RFPs and proposals, emphasising competitive value propositions. Stay up to date on industry developments and competition activity to help drive product positioning and pricing strategies. Ensure that CRM solutions (ideally HubSpot) are used properly to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines. Contribute insights to targeted commercial campaigns and activities to help with marketing efforts. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to match service capabilities to sales possibilities. Senior leadership should receive regular updates on commercial sales activity, achievements, and forecasts. Increase revenue by extending the client base and developing connections with key accounts. Create and negotiate contracts in partnership with legal and executive departments. Represent the company at trade fairs, networking events, and client meetings to boost exposure and reach.
What We’re Looking For: 10+ years of demonstrated expertise in commercial sales management, preferably in the relocation or business moving industry. A proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing sales teams. Outstanding communication, leadership, and strategic decision-making abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; prior expertise with CRM platforms such as HubSpot is preferred. Ability to assess data and finances in order to make business decisions and prioritise prospects. A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, marketing, or business management.
