Description : Large Northern New Jersey Agencies is growing their Marketing Department! Manage marketing of assigned accounts, obtaining and evaluating quotations, and determining and recommending markets. Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting criteria, deviations, plans, and marketing policy. Be knowledgeable regarding different rates approved by the carriers and can explain the rating of any policy. Negotiate with company underwriters. Prepare and modify quotations and proposals. Prepare complete and accurate submissions. Follow up on outstanding quotation requests. Prepare policy orders to the successful carrier, binding and invoicing. Very analytical and knowledgeable individual. Requirements : P&C Producer license as well as 4+ years of experience in the property/casualty industry with middle and large market experience. Must possess excellent organization and time management skills and demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Prefer a candidate that has a professional designation or is in process of obtaining one (CIC, CPCU, ARM or AAI). Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of Applied Systems is preferred.
