OVERVIEW:
The Commercial Analytics Associate Director has the unique opportunity to impact the lives of patients all around the world. S/he will be responsible for leading an innovative approach for data-driven decision-making for the commercial organization.
This individual will provide real time analytics, generate insights to inform decisions across the business, and to ensure operational execution is optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. This individual will possess a combination of strategic thinking and analytical expertise to help Lantheus achieve its' commercial goals.
The ideal candidate will have strong business insight, excellent analytical skills, technical data skills, financial acumen, and a bias toward action and teamwork. Strong process orientation and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment at all levels are also required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with Commercial Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders to understand business hypotheses & associated data requirements
Lead the analysis and interpretation of sales and market data to provide insights into performance trends, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
Track & interpret data trends and present data-driven strategic insights and actionable recommendations to leadership
Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional team members to enable a robust data infrastructure by documenting key processes, uncovering & resolving issues, ensuring data quality, and supporting ongoing infrastructure improvements.
Create compelling insight content (e.g., slides, analyses, emails) and clearly communicate key findings and recommendations to various stakeholderse
Inform and support creation of intuitive and insightful reports & dashboards in PowerBI, Excel, and similar tools
Build strong collaborative relationships with cross functional departments such as marketing, finance, pricing & contracting, and training
Collect, process, clean, and validate data from a variety of sources.
Support Ad-Hoc projects and tasks as needed.
CAPABILIITIES / COMPETENCIES:
Highly analytical with the ability to analyze large sets of data from multiple perspectives to generate conclusions and drive decisions
Strong technical & data manipulation skills, including experience applying statistical analysis to business and data modeling
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau). Experience with SQL, Python, etc. preferred.
Familiarity with sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce).
Solution oriented mindset with ability to interpret ambiguous requests and problem solve independently
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills with an ability to troubleshoot and solve complex business operations challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills applied to all levels of organization
Comfortable with fast pace in a rapidly changing industry
Highly organized with excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to efficiently handle multiple, shifting priorities
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years of related work experience in commercial analytics, finance, consulting, or sales operations.
BS/BA required in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Life sciences work experience (e.g., biopharma, diagnostics, medical devices) required, radiopharmaceutical experience preferred
