Thrive is all about jobs. We train and coach job seekers to help them overcome barriers and secure a good job so they can be economically stable and self-sufficient. Our job search training is provided on-demand through our learning platform. Participants who complete the workshop are eligible for coaching, meeting weekly in a group of peers with two volunteer coaches for up to four months.

The Position:
Thrive's cohort coaching model with volunteer coaches is at the core of the effectiveness of our program. As the Director of Volunteers you will play a pivotal role in advancing Thrive's mission through the oversight and development of our volunteer coaching program. This includes establishing and maintaining relationships with volunteers, implementing administrative systems and procedures, and monitoring program outcomes. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and highly relational to effectively plan and manage coaching activities.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Training Support the achievement of organizational objectives by developing and implementing a robust process for volunteer outreach, recruitment, and vetting Design and deliver effective training and onboarding processes to ensure volunteers are prepared for their roles Managing & Leading Contribute to the overall development, growth, and function of Thrive programming Lead, mentor and inspire the team of Lead Group Coaches as they lead their co-coaches and cohort members Maintain regular communication with volunteers, providing updates, feedback and support and fostering a positive and engaging volunteer experience Identify and train new Lead Group Coaches Ensure that coaches are using Salesforce appropriately to track participant progress Implement a continuous improvement process to ensure that coaching remains up to date and fit for purpose Organize Coach social events 2-3 times per year Reporting Implement and maintain data driven decision making processes using Salesforce to track program metrics, measure outcomes and improve program effectiveness Develop and monitor program budgets, track expenditures and ensure compliance with funding requirements Prepare and present regular reports to the Executive Director, Board, and donors on program outcomes, challenges and recommendations for improvement Qualifications: Ability to anticipate future needs and develop innovative strategies for volunteer engagement Self-starter with a "can do" attitude, attention to detail, initiative, and follow through Ability to motivate and inspire volunteers, fostering a positive and productive environment Demonstrated communication, networking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Internet research, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and ability to learn other applications as needed Applicants must be comfortable working with a diverse population of executive-level volunteer coaches, job seekers, colleagues, and partners in the community Since Thrive is a Christian faith-based organization qualified candidates would agree with the mission and values of Thrive and reflect these values in their life. Salary & Benefits: $65,000-$75,000 Based on Experience 401(k) with up to 5% employer match Medical and Dental insurance Long-term disability insurance PTO Full-time, exempt Reports to the Executive Director
