Position Summary Our organization is seeking a Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) Director to oversee short-term residential services for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. This leadership role involves both clinical and operational oversight, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based care to adult patients in a structured, recovery-focused environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide day-to-day oversight of the CSS program and multidisciplinary team Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and clinical standards Serve in a rotating virtual on-call leadership capacity Oversee the use of restraints and emergency interventions in accordance with policy Ensure fiscal accountability and program efficiency Develop and implement care protocols that support stabilization and transition to long-term recovery Collaborate with medical, clinical, and administrative departments Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong communication, team-building, and decision-making skills Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care Education & Experience Licensed clinician (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of Massachusetts Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment Demonstrated experience with emergency protocols and restraint procedures
