Visit us online at https://bhconnections.org Clinical Director Responsibilities The Clinical Director oversees managerial and clinical aspects for all mobile/tele/ERM assessors and call center staff. This role includes providing staff training, clinical supervision, reviewing clinical documentation, and ensuring appropriate patient triaging to the right level of care. The Clinical Director also supervises the daily schedule to ensure 24/7 call center coverage. Job Duties/Responsibilities Possess strong leadership skills to manage and inspire the referral management team, provide guidance, set performance expectations, and promote a positive, collaborative work environment. Effective communication, delegation, and conflict resolution skills are essential. Experience in referral management, assessment processes, protocols, and best practices. Knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance requirements, and regulatory guidelines related to referrals and assessments to optimize team performance and patient outcomes. Analytical skills to evaluate data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and quality of care. Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and make informed decisions to enhance referral and assessment processes. Licensure and Certification: Meets state requirements for mental health assessments and/or licensed as LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, RN (BSN). Current CPR certification if required by the hospital. Must have a valid driver's license. Experience: Preferably three or more years in intake assessment within an acute psychiatric setting and experience in healthcare business development or marketing with measurable results.
