SUMMARY : Oversee all aspects of oncology pharmacy services within the healthcare system. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of medications for cancer patients. Responsible for financial management, regulatory compliance, and staff development . ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage daily operations, drug distribution, inventory control, and regulatory compliance. Create and execute strategic plans, goals, and policies for oncology pharmacy services. Provide clinical leadership and guidance to ensure safe, effective use of oncology medications such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care drugs. Manages staff, conducts interviews, hires and trains employees, assesses employee performance, addresses performance issues as needed, and assigns work tasks appropriately. Develops detailed departmental budgets, monitors ongoing financial performance, analyzes variances, and implements corrective actions as necessary. Participate in programs that focus on enhancing medication safety, better patient outcomes, and maintaining high standards in cancer care. Provides information and resources to other teams and supports their efforts. Develop coaching and mentoring connections that encourage individuals to become more self-reliant. Collaborate with hospital departments to develop projects and oversee their progress through to completion. Communicate effectively with administrators and health care providers. Follows TMC Health safety, confidentiality, values, policies, and standards. Complies with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice. Performs other assigned tasks. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:  Pharm. D., Master's or BS degree in Pharmacy from an AACP accredited College of Pharmacy required. EXPERIENCE: Eight (8) years of pharmacy experience, including three (3) years of supervisory or management background required. LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current Pharmacist licensure in Arizona, Responsible Pharmacist Licensure required.
