Position Overview As a key transitional role on the path to becoming a Senior Medical Director, you will leverage your leadership skills to embody and advance the ChenMed clinical model. You may participate in essential training programs designed to enhance your capabilities and accelerate your career growth. In this outcomes-focused, value-based organization, you will oversee critical metrics such as patient outcomes, patient experience, clinical gaps closures, and financial performance. As a Clinical Medical Director (CMD), you will be responsible for ensuring a positive culture while driving accountability and excellence within your medical center. Accountability for Outcomes: Lead clinical care and influence patient outcomes by building trust and guiding behavior change. Health Coaching: Support patients in setting and achieving health goals as a partner in their care. Simplifying Actions: Make behavior change actionable for both patients and care teams. Leadership: Conduct weekly care meetings and work closely with center leadership to enhance both clinical quality and financial performance. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals while participating in essential meetings that promote patient health and company goals. CMD Training Includes: PCP Black Belt Training and Essentials Medical Director and Center Operations ChenMed Leadership Pathways Program Medical Economics and Financial Performance Sales and Growth Strategies As the CMD, you will assume the following responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for older adults with acute and chronic conditions. Engage with specialists, hospitalists, and care teams for optimal patient management. Lead care teams and support center operations to ensure exceptional patient experiences. Drive a positive team culture that prioritizes employee engagement and exceptional outcomes. Mentor and coach primary care providers to foster clinical excellence. Why ChenMed?
