The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (FHCC) seeks a Clinical Director of Sarcoma with the UW Division of Medical Oncology. The incoming Clinical Director will oversee a growing program specializing in research and clinical care of patients with sarcoma. The Director is in charge of offering clinical and organizational guidance to FHCC patients while also practicing financial responsibility, supporting research and education, increasing patient accessibility and program expansion, and fostering the growth and development of faculty and staff. They will work closely with FHCC and affiliate leadership to ensure that administration and operations run efficiently and safely, with a focus on quality. FHCC is the Northwest's No. 1 cancer center and the state's only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer care center.

About the UW Sarcoma Program
The Sarcoma Program at UW and Fred Hutch is in its 36th year. It is a rapidly growing regional referral center attracting patients throughout the Washington-Wyoming-Alaska-Montana-Idaho (WWAMI) region and Hawaii. The providers in this region are set up with Telehealth capabilities. In addition to a thriving multidisciplinary clinical practice, our investigators are leaders in research, with over 30 currently active, industry-sponsored, and investigator-initiated clinical trials. It is a practice setting with orthopedic surgeons, surgical oncologists, pathologists, radiation, and medical oncologists, all focused on sarcoma and related diseases. The Sarcoma Program treats 800 to 1,000 patients annually and generates 450 new patients annually. Fred Hutch has the majority of the market share for Sarcoma, and from FY22, the patient demand has grown by 29%.
