Position Overview: We are seeking a Clinical Director, Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and supervision to primary care providers, while also delivering direct patient care and contributing to the overall clinical-operations synergy and culture. Key Responsibilities: Independently provide care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses encountered in older adult patients. Take full accountability for patient care and outcomes, and appropriately seek consultation from specialists when needed. Engage with the hospitalist whenever one of the patients is in the hospital. Lead the care team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. Manage, mentor, and coach PCPs to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes, including sampling other PCP's daily huddles. Drive continued improvement of center financial performance and help increase center membership. Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty required. Current, active MD licensure in the state of employment required. A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in geriatric, adult, or family practice setting preferred. Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty is preferred, Board Eligibility is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment.
