Role
The main objectives of the role are to meet and exceed income targets from new B2B partners through your sales performance and that of a team of direct and indirect reports. Also providing coaching, leadership and development to direct reports. The role is specifically to lead the delivery of our products and services into new partnerships within the independent schools market.
The main focus of the role is to grow market share through new business.
As the Client Director - Education Division (non-advised) key accountabilities will include:
Responsible for prospecting and securing new B2B partners and ensuring the successful on-boarding of new partners
Making presentations to outside commercial organisations and attending new business meetings with partners.
Attending relevant key conferences to generate new opportunities.
Working with marketing, product and proposition and other support functions to develop and execute plans to support the delivery of income targets.
Leadership of Client Executive(s) and/or Senior Client Executive Executive(s), instilling a Growth Culture within team, developing and inspiring ongoing performance improvements.
Providing accurate sales forecasts to Associate Director – Education Division using pipeline reporting.
Relationship Management of high value and/ or strategic existing partners, collaborating with Service and Renewals to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Being a market expert – building and maintaining durable relationships with key industry contacts.
Identifying opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B, providing introductions and supporting the cross-sell process.
Person
We are looking for a Client Director who has excellent sales and leadership ability, built of a depth of experience as well as leading, coaching and developing teams.
The Client Director - Education Division (non-advised) will also have the following;
Ability to coach, constructively challenge, and positively influence behaviours ultimately translating to growth in income from direct reports.
Ability to exceed individual and team targets and deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both orally and visually and ability to effectively present to all levels within a business, both external and internal
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Ability to understand people and build rapport, adapt styles of communication accordingly.
The ability to manage own diary and workload effectively and work to tight deadlines with accuracy of work
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to spot and identify opportunities for cross-selling
Ability to use a CRM tool effectively from both an opportunity management and reporting perspective.
