The Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, developing educational programs, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education.

*Duties* * Lead and manage the childcare center's operations, including staffing, budgeting, and program development. * Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that foster children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. * Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities. * Supervise and mentor staff to promote professional development and effective teaching practices. * Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. * Create a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families. * Collaborate with community resources to enhance program offerings and support families.

*Qualifications* * A degree from a recognized university in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. * Experience in education administration or management within a childcare setting is highly desirable. * Proven ability to educate children in a nurturing manner while fostering their development. * Experience working with students in higher education teaching or training environments is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, parents, and the community.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
