We are representing an industry leading FORTUNE 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Quality Engineering Director/Technical Director to lead their "flagship" campus due to a recently announced retirement. The Technical/Quality Director will report directly to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP! POSITION OVERVIEW Candidate will report to the General Manager while managing a department of (50) over a 800+ employee/$600M revenue campus. Candidate will be responsible for leading (5) Managers Complete financial/budgetary ownership over Quality, Engineering (Process & Product), Lab, and Metallurgy. Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals. Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues. Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Technical Degree is required for consideration (Metallurgy, Materials Science, Engineering, etc..) Aerospace and/or Metals is required for consideration Candidate should have at least 5 years of Engineering & Quality Leadership experience within highly regulated environment Experience with AS9100/AS13100 preferred Data driven/process oriented
