Position Overview: This role is primarily remote, requiring occasional onsite meetings in the Huntsville area. Candidates must be local or within reasonable commuting distance. No relocation support is available. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to focus on defense and civilian agency growth. The role involves developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and executing capture strategies in collaboration with internal teams and partners. Responsibilities include: Developing DoD pipeline opportunities in software, cloud, AI, and low-code/no-code platforms Creating and implementing strategic contact and qualification plans Gathering market intelligence and competitive data Participating in bid decisions and pricing strategies Building and maintaining customer relationships and understanding competitor capabilities Required Qualifications: At least 8 years of relevant business development experience, including DoD expertise Proven success in securing contracts over $50M Strong customer relationship skills with senior defense and intelligence officials Experience in opportunity capture, solution selling, and market development Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field Preferred Qualifications: Experience briefing senior executives and understanding security regulations Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Additional Information: US Citizenship required Application deadline: July 31, 2025 Compensation varies based on multiple factors; ranges are not specified here Physical Requirements: Repetitive motions, visual and auditory tasks, and some physical activity may be required.
