Position Overview The Business Development Director for APAC will own and grow Nuritas’ distribution network across Asia-Pacific and will be responsible for revenue delivery via this channel. You will develop and manage relationships with key distribution partners, ensure strong performance, and execute strategies to increase the availability and visibility of Nuritas ingredients in priority APAC markets. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution: from recruiting and onboarding new distributors to optimizing existing partnerships and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities ·        Market Development: Identify and prioritize growth opportunities in key APAC markets for Nuritas’ bioactive peptide ingredients in Food, Beverage, and VMS sectors. ·        Sales & Revenue Growth: Set and achieve annual sales targets through distribution channels; monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive consistent revenue growth. ·        Distributor Network Management: Build, manage, and expand relationships with distribution partners across APAC, ensuring alignment with Nuritas’ commercial objectives. ·        Work with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Research & Development and Product Development for customer technical solutions and innovation with our ingredients and product concepts. ·        Keep up to date on market trends and relevant competition ·        Participate to trade shows when needed. ·        Supply Chain & Operations: Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, operations, finance) to maintain optimal product availability, inventory levels, and on-time deliveries. ·        Market Intelligence: Track market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity; translate insights into actionable strategies. ·        Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, R&D, and Marketing teams to launch new ingredients and support customer adoption in APAC. ·        Travel: Approximately 30–40% international travel to key APAC markets for client visits, trade shows, and market assessments.
Essential requirements ·        Minimum 10+ years in distribution management, sales, or supply chain in the Food, Beverage, Ingredients, or Nutritional Supplements (VMS) industries. ·        Proven track record of Revenue Generation, ability to meet and exceed Sales targets ·        Strong understanding of APAC market dynamics, consumer trends, and regulatory requirements. ·        Demonstrated success in building and managing multi-country distributor networks and delivering sales growth. ·        Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills; ability to influence at senior levels. ·        Fluent English required;
Preferred Requirements: ·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field; advanced degree a plus. ·         Additional languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean are a plus.
