About the Role

The Company is seeking a dedicated individual to join its board of directors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit management, community relations, public relations, fundraising, grant writing, and human resources. Key responsibilities for this role include participating in virtual board meetings, serving on an ad hoc committee, reviewing the agency's budget and financial statements, supporting the agency President, and actively engaging in board recruitment. The successful candidate will also be expected to foster relationships and partnerships to enhance the agency's services.

This is a volunteer position that requires a commitment to the financial wellness of the community. The board member will be instrumental in the strategic decision-making process and will play a vital role in the agency's mission to provide financial counseling and education services, as well as housing counseling to those in need. The position is open to individuals of all backgrounds who are passionate about making a difference and are willing to invest their time and skills in support of the agency's goals.
