Advertising Director – San Luis Valley, CO

The Alamosa Valley Courier and Monte Vista group of weekly newspapers, part of Blackbird Newspapers, are looking for a visionary Advertising Director to drive revenue growth and strategy in the San Luis Valley. What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute multi-platform advertising strategies (print, digital, social)

Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to exceed revenue goals

Build lasting relationships with local businesses and community partners

Drive innovation in marketing solutions to grow readership and advertiser success

What We’re Looking For:

A proven leader in advertising sales, media, or marketing

Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills

A creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for local journalism

Experience managing budgets, pipelines, and performance metrics

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary in the mid $50Ks (commensurate with experience)
