Position Details The teacher will instruct students in grades 6-12 in various woodwind, brass and percussion instruments.

The teacher will serve as the lead director for the Middle School and High School concert bands as well as

the High School marching band. The teacher will facilitate fundraising, band recruitment and perform

administrative duties required for a successful music program. The teacher will respect and maintain

confidentiality of student information. He/she will maintain current instructional practices in education and

instructional technology. Other duties include, but are not limited to, developing/facilitating parent

engagement activities; communicating regularly with parents and colleagues about student achievement,

learning goals and attendance; participating in building/district team meetings; and maintaining accurate

records of student data.
