We’re looking for a high-impact Automotive & RV Director of Marketing to lead strategic marketing efforts for our multi-location Auto and RV dealerships. This role oversees a team of Regional Marketing Managers and works directly with the executive team and General Managers to drive traffic, improve conversion, and deliver measurable ROI. Whether you're a proven marketing leader or a former GM with strong business instincts and a passion for customer experience, this could be the right seat.


What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop a Marketing Team

  • Manage and mentor a team of regional marketing managers within a larger, multi-company marketing group.
  • Work with the marketing operations team to build scalable marketing systems focused on local execution, audience targeting, and campaign performance.
  • Use training tools like scorecards, LMS content, and dynamic reporting to drive accountability.

Drive Sales Through Strategic Marketing

  • Align marketing with sales goals across all Auto and RV locations.
  • Track KPIs like customer acquisition cost, lead-to-sale conversion, and revenue attribution.
  • Use data to adjust campaigns, optimize spend, and hold the team accountable to ROI.

Own the Customer Experience – Bridge the Sales vs. Marketing Gap

  • Enhance the customer journey across digital, in-store, and hybrid touchpoints. Collaboration with training & sales teams is critical
  • Work with sales and training departments to perfect processes like CRM personalization, AI-driven follow-up, and mobile-first campaigns.
  • Work with marketing vendors to improve ROI, clarity, and consistency in every interaction.

Manage Vendors & Products

  • Assist with product selection and implementation across all stores.
  • Assist with merchandising, messaging, and digital alignment to drive engagement.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships with a focus on execution and ROI.
Requirements:

What You Bring

  • Leadership experience in multi-location marketing or dealership operations
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, customer experience, and marketing analytics
  • Willingness to lean into new & proprietary tech stacks and work with developers to perfect new and innovative processes.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive strategy, and produce measurable results
  • Experience in automotive, RV, or similar retail industries preferred
