About The Role The Director, Media is responsible for driving top-of-funnel growth by building and executing a media and brand marketing strategy that balances growing brand with driving trials and leads across all Auctane products globally. You'll work closely with teams across Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Creative, Finance, Data and Analytics to ensure campaigns align with business goals and are delivering measurable results. Reporting to the Vice President of Growth Marketing, this is a strategic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to drive top-of-funnel growth through offline and digital channels.
This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas. Less than 5% travel requirements.
Responsibilities Develop and execute a diverse media strategy and partner closely with Brand Marketing on a holistic brand strategy that balances growing awareness and perception with driving trials and leads to various Auctane products globally
Manage channels to balance audience growth, awareness and CPA efficiency through media planning, creative, targeting, and other optimizations
Own media measurement, utilizing a combination of probabilistic and deterministic online and offline measurement methodologies to understand the true impact of tactics and drive data-driven optimization
Work closely with the Director of Performance Marketing (lower funnel) to drive full-funnel demand through audio and video channels including but not limited to Influencer, Podcast, Radio, Linear TV, CTV, OLV, YouTube and Social
Champion our test-and-learn agenda, continuously refining and optimize existing tactics while actively identifying new channels and strategies - with a focus on high impact and scalability
Own TOF channel attribution, partnering closely with Marketing Analytics to refine channel attribution framework through MMM, touch-based attribution and independent lift testing.
Partner with Product Marketing and Creative to ideate, execute, and iterate on messaging and creative concepts to improve the incremental impact of your channels
Lead relationships with Auctane's media agencies, ensuring effective execution, reporting, and budget management
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
7+ years of experience in growth marketing on offline and digital channels (Podcast, Radio, TV, CTV, OLV, YouTube and Social)
Experience optimizing advertising campaigns based on performance KPIs (ROAS, CAC, etc.)
Proven track record of successfully launching, optimizing, and scaling new offline and digital channels
Experience leveraging incrementality testing to optimize and improve media performance
Cross functional work experience (Creative, Finance, Legal, Data, Engineering, etc.)
Highly curious, with data-driven mindset and creative problem solving skills
Nice-to-haves: Experience in DTC, eCommerce and/or SaaS, Experience with Looker, GA, Amplitude or other analytics tools, Programmatic media buying experience (TTD, DV360, Amazon etc)
