SUMMARY :
The Associate Director of Annual Giving, Athletics, oversees and manages the Spider Club, consisting of annual contributions designated towards the Spider Club Annual Fund and discretionary funds for each intercollegiate sport. The Associate Director, in coordination with Development colleagues, performs a variety of activities related to the cultivation and solicitation of Spider Club donors and prospects, including strategy development, personal solicitation, and managing the implementation of fundraising communications. The Associate Director assists with coordination of the stewardship and donor recognition efforts and attends appropriate activities and events. The Associate Director also works closely with the Athletic Department serving on the Athletic Cabinet and on the athletic game day committees for both football and basketball. This position requires regular travel for cultivation and solicitations, Spider Club events, and appropriate athletic events.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of three to five years' experience in annual giving, or a closely related field, preferably in higher education, with a proven track record of success required
Understanding and passion for collegiate athletics required
WORK HOURS : Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm; travel required
SALARY STRUCTURE :
Pay Grade 9 (Hiring Range $73,008.00 to $100,402.00 annually)
