Position Overview The Senior Program Director oversees the development and operations of various program initiatives, designing practices, processes, and procedures for strong program and project management. The Y Club Program supports and provides leadership development to all Y Club Program Directors, serving 72 before and after school programs in Missouri and Illinois. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social services, recreation, or equivalent, required. Must qualify for Missouri and Illinois State licensing as an approved Director for 100+ children. Knowledge of Missouri and Illinois Child Care License requirements; license-exempt knowledge is preferred. Four or more years of program management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency. Ability to lead, train, and influence branch leadership effectively. Strong organizational knowledge, experience, and proficiency. Experience with diverse populations and developing authentic relationships. Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations. Excellent interpersonal, oral, communication, and writing skills. Enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
