Establishes work procedures and standards for the site and monitors patient care. In performing this work, the Associate Medical Director ensures the execution of assuring access to high-quality quality affordable health care for all. Ideally, this position would spend 20% of their time on administrative duties and 80% of their time on clinical duties. The Associate Medical Director actively participates in the site Management Team (Clinic Administrator and Site Supervisors). The Associate Medical Director consults with/defers to the Regional Medical Director in instances of physician care and quality disputes.Minimum RequirementsCertified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License required.A minimum of five years' experience in an outpatient health clinic setting and/or a community health center setting is required; working with the underserved populations preferred.Demonstrated experience developing and implementing quality improvement programs.Experience with managed care, administration of programs, and staff supervision.Demonstrated experience with Electronic Medical Records systems.Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred.A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.Compensation$282,407.27 - $338,888.72 annuallyCompensation DisclaimerActual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
