Do you excel at developing full-funnel strategies that drive both brand growth and real business outcomes? Medium Giant is seeking an Associate Media Director, Paid Social to lead strategic planning, execution, and team development across a diverse portfolio of tourism, education and brand clients. In this mid-level role, you’ll plan and execute innovative, results-focused campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms. You’ll mentor junior team members, own key client relationships, and champion a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and performance excellence. What You’ll Do Lead Strategy & Innovation: Own and drive full-funnel paid social strategies with a strong focus on conversion performance (ROAS, CPA, CPL, Revenue) and scalable growth across platforms.
Executional Excellence: Build, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, and other social platforms.
Creative Development: Guide creative strategy and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to deliver high-impact creative assets tailored for each platform and audience.
Client Leadership: Serve as a strategic lead and trusted advisor for client stakeholders—owning performance narratives, communicating campaign impact, and guiding media decision-making.
Real-Time Optimization: Continuously analyze and refine campaign performance, leveraging advanced data tools, platform insights, and attribution reporting.
Integrated Collaboration: Work closely with strategy, creative, analytics, and other media channel leads (SEO, SEM, etc.) to ensure cohesive, cross-channel execution.
Mentorship & Team Building: Guide and mentor a team of paid social and media specialists—coaching on both technical skills and development.
Process & Efficiency: Establish and improve operational processes, flawless pacing, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.
Test & Learn: Champion a culture of experimentation—developing test frameworks to pilot new tactics, platforms, and creative approaches.
Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of platform shifts and emerging trends—integrating innovations into client strategies and team playbooks.
Job Requirements What You Bring Experience: 4-6+ years in paid social media, with hands-on experience with a focus on conversion-based campaigns for clients
Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on-keys experience of Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, with experience across Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, X and other emerging platforms.
Performance-Driven Mindset: Proven track record of managing large and small media budgets, scaling performance campaigns, and optimizing for lower-funnel metrics.
Creative Acumen: Skilled in crafting high-performing creative strategies that align with brand voice, platform best practices, and audience insights.
Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Excel, and third-party attribution platforms to draw actionable insights.
Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor a team, standardize best practices, and foster a high-performance, supportive culture.
Client Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to and influencing senior clients.
Proactivity & Problem-Solving: A self-starter who brings forward-thinking solutions and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving media landscape.
