The Fleet team at SoftBank Robotics focuses on ensuring successful product launches, sales, fulfillment, and post-sale service and operations for our portfolio. The team includes Customer Care, Deployment, Repair, Logistics, and Order Operations.
Reporting to the VP of Robot & Fleet Management, the candidate will be entrepreneurial, comfortable navigating a rapidly evolving market, and capable of determining the best service and support strategies for the deployed fleet of robots. The role requires a detail-oriented, passionate, self-starting individual who thrives in a dynamic, start-up-like environment. Energy, curiosity, and a hands-on approach are essential. You should be a quick learner, an excellent communicator, and a persistent problem-solver committed to meeting ambitious goals through teamwork.
Role Overview Leading fleet-related product launch and post-launch projects, including ECN, rework, retrofit, and repair quality management
Overseeing the Boston repair team and supporting the Repair Manager directly
Identifying ticketing and repair trends, collaborating with Customer Success, Product, and OEM teams to develop long-term resolutions to enhance customer experience
Managing failure rate and robot uptime metrics, implementing solutions to maximize customer ROI
Overseeing external repair teams, onsite service planning, and local service needs
Serving as the escalation point for hardware issues within daily operations scope, working closely with the Product team for resolution
Managing OEM escalations and daily communications regarding repair and service topics
Creating and maintaining repair and service documentation and processes
Ensuring the quality and condition of all fleet hardware
