Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next-generation radioconjugates (RCs) as precision medicines. Fusion connects alpha particle emitting isotopes to targeting molecules to deliver payloads to tumors. Its portfolio includes FPI-2265 targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer in Phase 2, FPI-1434 targeting insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor in Phase 1, and FPI-2068, a bispecific IgG-based EGFR-cMET radioconjugate in Phase 1. Fusion is also exploring combination therapies with DNA Damage Response Inhibitors and immune-oncology agents. The company operates a GMP-compliant radioconjugate manufacturing facility to support its pipeline. Candidates for this role need to work hybrid out of Boston, MA, or Hamilton, Ontario. Responsibilities Review and optimize nuclear medicine imaging protocols, including QC, image acquisition, reconstruction, radiation dose, and dose management. Set requirements for clinical site imaging, providing technical support. Design quality control protocols and collaborate on imaging review and processing. Provide training and problem-solving support to study teams. Partner with Radiation Science team on protocol design, review, and regulatory compliance. Travel willingness (10-20%). Qualifications Bachelors degree in physical/computational sciences or mathematics; graduate degree preferred. 2-5 years of clinical experience/exposure preferred. Experience in clinical trials preferred. Technical and analytical problem-solving skills. Experience with radiopharmaceuticals, Nuclear Medicine, SPECT, PET, and QC procedures. Board certification (ABR, ABSNM, CNMT, RTT, CMD) preferred. Understanding of radiation biology and physics preferred. Experience with dosimetry programs like Olinda, MIM, etc., preferred. Proficiency with DICOM, PACS, and modern electronic infrastructures. Knowledge of imaging-related clinical study protocols. Familiarity with radioactive materials regulations from agencies like AAPM, SNMMI, NRC.
