Job Summary: The Associate Director - Sales will lead the strategic sales initiatives, focusing on business development, portfolio management, and client relationship management. This role requires a proven track record in healthcare sales, especially with clients based in the USA, and the ability to drive revenue growth while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for Medivant Healthcare. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance, goal alignment, and continuous skill development. Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, particularly hospitals and healthcare organizations across the U.S. market. Oversee and manage existing client portfolios , identifying new opportunities for expansion and cross-selling. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams -including Marketing, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs-to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge. Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics (KPIs) to senior leadership. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand Medivant's market presence. Develop customer proposals and lead negotiation processes to secure profitable business deals. Manage and maintain product pricing across all platforms, including GPOs and partner sites, ensuring timely updates and consistency. Lead the preparation and submission of customer bids and participate in group purchasing organization (GPO) bidding processes. Plan and coordinate conference participation , including strategy, logistics, and follow-up to maximize visibility and engagement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred. 8-12 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, business development, and portfolio management. Proven experience in dealing with USA-based clients and understanding of US healthcare regulations and market dynamics. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics-driven decision-making. Willingness to travel as required.
