Job Summary
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, andmaintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation. Reports to the Director, Network and User Services. Supervises Systems Administrators, Automation Developers, Solution Center and Network Telecommunications staff. Qualifications - Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.Technical certification (CISSP, Security+) strongly preferred. Qualifications - Experience Job Experience: A minimum of six years in network and system administration, which shouldinclude technologies such as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Server Virtualization, and ActiveDirectory administration. Qualifications - Skills a. Experience maintaining Microsoft, VMware, and Linux operating systemsb. Excellent communications skills, both written and oralc. Ability to plan complex technical implementations.d. This position is an essential position. Individuals in essential positions can be required toreport to campus during an emergency when travel is limited to essential employeesonly.
