Position Summary: The Associate Director of Marketing for Established Brands plays a critical role in shaping and executing marketing strategies for late-lifecycle brands, particularly as they approach loss of exclusivity (LOE). This position is pivotal in maximizing brand value, optimizing commercial investments, and managing the evolution of Otsuka's CNS portfolio. You will collaborate closely with market access, sales, medical affairs, and finance to implement strategies that ensure sustained revenue and market position for our products. Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Lead marketing initiatives for established brands like Nuedexta, focusing on strategic transitions, ensuring continued performance, and preparing for LOE. Commercial Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that maintain brand revenue, optimize promotional spending, and identify post-LOE opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with market access, finance, commercial operations, and medical teams to guarantee the effective execution of brand strategies. Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence: Track market dynamics, competitor activities, and changes in reimbursement to refine marketing strategies accordingly. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), adapt marketing tactics based on data insights, and create cost-effective promotional strategies. Vendor & Agency Management: Manage agency relationships and resources to ensure optimal execution of marketing initiatives. Portfolio Planning: When necessary, assist the team in relevant early commercialization work and planning within the CNS space. Qualifications & Key Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, particularly with late-lifecycle brand management or LOE strategies. Strong understanding of market access, reimbursement, and commercialization strategies. Proven track record in developing and executing marketing plans for mature brands. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working alongside sales, market access, and medical teams. Analytical mindset with expertise in performance tracking and investment optimization. Experience in budget management and vendor oversight. Able to thrive in a matrixed environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
