Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Enrollment (VPSE), the Associate Director of Enrollment Operations (ADEO) advances the university's enrollment objectives by managing the enrollment technical and operational infrastructure, overseeing day-to-day functioning and system operations, collaborating with the recruiting team to manage communication workflows, and ensuring alignment with institutional policies, data standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Operational and Technical Infrastructure
oversee the accurate and timely processing of applications, including transfer evaluation processes
design and maintain automated systems and communication workflows for application review, decision release, and data synchronization
serve as primary data steward for enrollment and guide implementation and maintenance of institutional SIS (Ellucian Colleague) and the institutional CRM (TBD), driving accuracy through regular data clean-up, consolidation of duplicate records, and oversight of annual cycle prep work to update application portals, purge outdated resources, and ensure compliance with institutional privacy policies
serve as a critical bridge between technical data management and strategic enrollment planning, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making across all levels of the admissions process
generate real-time reports on recruitment progress, yield rates, and summer melt
collaborate closely with the enrollment team to resolve discrepancies, monitor applicant statuses, and ensure all applicants receive the correct admission decisions
manage communication campaigns that drive recruitment, enrollment, and yield
manage data imports, document validation, and communication workflows to address incomplete or updated materials.
perform additional duties as assigned; the ADEO undertakes special projects and tasks aligned with institutional/departmental priorities, ensuring adaptability to emerging needs
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills to evaluate current and improve admission operations
Strong understanding of enrollment management practices, trends in higher education, and the needs of diverse student populations.
2-3 years of experience with CRM systems for enrollment communications. The ideal candidate will be particularly knowledgeable with Slate by Technolutions, including configuration, testing, documentation, and support
Demonstrated experience collaborating across departments and managing data integration between SIS (e.g. Ellucian Colleague) and CRM systems; Experience in SIS and CRM implementation strongly preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
