Associate Director of Children's & Family Ministries - Nursery to Kindergarten

General Description
Assist and support all areas of program ministry to children and families, birth through 5th grade. Specifically, work with staff, families, and volunteers to disciple the nursery, preschool, and early elementary participants.
Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties
Prepare lessons and material needed for Sunday Young Worshiper and Sunday School classes.
Coordinate staffing of all nursery classes on Sunday morning, as well as childcare needs for all churchwide events.
Plan and lead Sunday large group lessons at 8:45 am, 10:00 am, & 11:15 am for age 3’s – Kindergarten.
Assist in planning and leading Teacher Training Workshops and annual nursery staff training.
Recruit volunteer teachers for the school year, summer, and all special events throughout the year.
Attend and participate in quarterly Children’s Leadership Council meetings.
Education and Experience
College Degree, preferred.
Experience Working or Volunteering with children, preferred.
